Please take the time to read the information below before booking your stay with us.

> Cancellation Policy

Plans change, we understand that. If you are cancelling or amending your dates note that there is no charge or fee up to 21 days before your due arrival date. Payment in full is required 21 days before arrival and after that we are unable to make any refunds. No-shows will be treated the same as a cancellation.

It is likely that your reservation prevented other people from booking with us and it may now be too late to resell the apartment which is why we have a cancellation policy in place. We highly recommend that you consider travel insurance that covers for late cancellations.

> Travel Insurance

We cannot recommend strongly enough that you have adequate insurance that covers you if you have to cancel within the 21 day period. We are not a travel insurer so please don't expect us to act as one if you have decided not to take out a policy for your trip.

Good travel insurance will protect you if you have to cancel your trip if you fall ill or suffer an injury within the 21 day no refund cancellation period or if your holiday gets shortened due to a mishap on the ski slopes or a bad landing on your mountain bike.

Good travel insurance will also protect you against any unforeseen events including cancellation and/or curtailment of travel due to natural disasters or weather events such as earthquakes or snowstorms.

Changes to flights to and from Queenstown due to the weather or other issues are not uncommon and can affect the time and even the day of your arrival or departure. Any refunds for accommodation due to flight changes will need to be dealt with through your airline or your travel insurer.

Having your own travel insurance policy will avoid an awkward conversation when you have to cancel or make changes within the 21 day period so we really do recommend that you consider having a policy for your holiday.

> Check-in

Check-in is from 3pm onwards. If you require an earlier check-in due to an early arrival in Queenstown please let us know and we will do what we can to try and accommodate your request, if it is possible.

Check-in details will be emailed to the address you used for the booking the day before your arrival if you book direct, or through the booking company if you used one. These details will tell you which apartment you are in, how to access the apartment and where to park your car if you have one.

Occasionally there can be issues with emailing guests who have booked via a booking company, particularly if you used Expedia. If you have not received check-in instructions by the morning of your arrival please email us directly on office@wynterapartments.com or better still phone/text us on +64 22 109 3413.

Check-out is by 10am. If you require a later check-out then please let us know as soon as possible and we will see if we can help. Note however that this is very much dependent on other bookings and arrivals on that day.

> Parking

One parking space is allocated to each apartment. Please park in the same numbered space as your apartment. If you do find someone in your space please let us know rather than parking in another space. Additional vehicles or visitors should park on Hallenstein Street.

Due to the space available we cannot accommodate large campervans. If you are travelling by campervan please let us know before you arrive and we will help you find somewhere to park it while you stay with us.

> Party Party

There is nothing worse than taking a late night call from a guest complaining about a noisy and inconsiderate neighbour. The person ringing is annoyed, we get annoyed and shortly afterwards the noisy guest is going to get annoyed.

Queenstown can be party central but some guests just want to relax after a day taking in the mountain air. To ensure that all of our guests enjoy their stay we do not allow parties at Wynter Apartments and we request quiet hours between 9pm and 8am. We would really appreciate if you could keep your partying in town and not in the apartment.

Visitors must vacate your apartment by 9pm.

Any complaints that come from other guests or our neighbours will be taken seriously and may result in your booking being cancelled on the spot with no refund. We want all of our guests to enjoy their time here, including you, so we appreciate your understanding on this.

> General Terms and Conditions

This is the small print. We have to say it to make things clear in case any issues arise during a stay at Wynter Apartments. As stated at the very end, we reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect and with no refund if guests do not honour these terms and conditions or cause a disturbance or nuisance to others.

When you book a room you have booked it for a certain number of guests. We know that plans can change and we will be happy to try and accommodate additional people if you tell us about it. Additional guests beyond the number booked are charged at NZ$50 per night if notified before check-in. If found to have additional guests once checked in the penalty rate is NZ$100 per person per night. We allow one child under the age of two free of charge using existing bedding.

For legal reasons, and for obvious safety reasons, we cannot accommodate more people than the number of beds allows. If we become aware that more people are staying in a room than has been agreed then we reserve the right to cancel the booking and ask that both the guests and their visitors leave.

The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons/visitors whilst on the property. Any deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the property will be charged to the registered guest. Any damage to the property, whether it is a hole in the wall, a broken door handle or a stained carpet will have to be repaired before the next guest can stay. Whoever booked the room will be charged for this remedial work and for any lost revenue if we have to cancel bookings to allow repairs to be completed. This includes costs to reaccommodate guests elsewhere while the remedial work is undertaken.

Due to previous issues relating to damage to the property the minimum age for the registered guest checking in is 21. If we do ask for ID please take that as a complement on your youthful looks.

A 2% credit card surcharge applies.

All bookings made via online travel agents eg: Booking.com, where payment is provided via their website, must provide valid credit card details to the property directly.

No smoking or vaping inside please. All apartments have an outside area and a container for any cigarette butts.

Sorry, but no pets are allowed in the apartments.

Whether you book direct with us or through a third party like Booking.com, Expedia or Agoda, we will send a link to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect and with no refund if guests do not honour these terms and conditions or cause disturbance/nuisance to others.
